Turning A Page

Being a stay at home mom is wonderful. I will whole-heartedly admit that there are time when I take it for granted, but in all honesty I am very appreciative of being able to be here all day with those wonderful (always loud), creative (messy), social (constantly talking), mini-drama-bombs that are our spawn.

After these last years of homeschooling I’ve learned a lot about myself and my kids’ passions in education. My daughter LOVES to read, she ingests books and knowledge. My son is a new reader and struggles with confidence.

One staple in our home has been books from PaperPie. I’ve had several friends throw parties, become consultants/StoryMakers, and made some wonderful online friends through the process. I’ve collected many of their books over the years. I’ve even found some books that have been passed down in the family for many years that are Usborne published books! No matter if it was a potty training time, the social insecurities of starting school, time to teach about germs, bedtime fairy tales, non-fiction learning for school, or keep-busy help…UBAM/PaperPie was there for me.

Well, years later my consultants have moved on. Now I’m stepping up to continue my love for these books and educational products! I know these books have made a positive impact on my kids, and I know they will help to connect you with your kiddos too!
