Making it Official

Well, 7 months later I am official, I am a Washington driver’s license holder! COVID has made this transition take longer than we hoped, yet we are moving forward. Settling in is happening just as we are starting to discuss the next moves. I even applied for our library cards this week! I always knew we’d get library cards before setting down true roots. Now it’s time for license plates!

First time driving through Seattle was exciting.

Kaiden was excited to go with Justin downtown to work at Amazon. He got to see the sights and document a bit on his Kindle.

Ready for seeing where Daddy works!

The next many months will be spent looking for land and properties we could build on or renovate, home builders, or just comfortably hanging out where we are for awhile longer. I’m happy to continue building some gardens in the meantime.

Planning stages.

The hardest part of this last year has been the inability to safely visit family. We can’t wait to be able to see people face-to-face again! Hopefully this summer will be filled with visiting.
