Getting Myself Out There

Creating a specific image for myself.

When you start looking for a job you need a resume. From my understanding publishers and many other people will be looking into your online background when taking your work into consideration. That makes complete sense right? When I meet people I check them out online and learn what I can about them. So I jumped into the creation of an online presence, Growing the Spark.

The “spark” came from two things really. When I was a baby my hair stood straight up and looked like there was static electricity in it. My nickname was “sparky” and I still use it occasionally. Another reason for the naming was due to watching my husband and daughter light up when they talk about their dreams and goals in life. They have passions which I hope they follow. Since writing has been something I’ve wanted to do, I figured it’s time to foster that spark!

My favorite creature is a phoenix. Yes, yes…I know they aren’t real, but they’re a wonderful concept. Starting over and having a fresh start is something we can do anytime. I’m so fortunate to have the family I do, and with their support it’s time to start myself on a new path of balanced family and self.

We all need a fire lit under us at times.
